If you are young and still growing as a person, your resume will focus on how good you are at math, science, and technology. You will be asking for the same jobs as your peers. As you become more experienced, you can add more specifics, like experience in computer programming or even accounting, to show how much of an advance you are.However, if you are getting ready to graduate and your resume is focusing on your future car eer, you will want to include an experience section. Even if you are already retired, there is nothing wrong with including your specific job titles or particular areas that you worked in to show what you have done to advance yourself. Think about your future in college as well; how do you think your degree would fit into your future employer's future plans?Because resumes and PowerPoint will be similar, it is important to keep it organized. When you start out, try to put your resume first, followed by PowerPoint. You may even want to put your PowerPoint at the top, so that people can easily scan it and find the information they are looking for. When you are finished with your resume, go over it one last time to make sure it is still correct.The only other thing you will need to keep in mind is that you don't want to make your teen resume appear too professional. Try to use as many everyday words as possible to be more specific. For example, you can put 'store manager' rather than j ust store manager, because you are talking about an actual store manager.The point is, any company is going to have an idea about what you do, but the potential employer isn't going to know that exactly. Showing them a picture of you on your birthday or graduation or even when you were a kid can be helpful. These are perfect examples of why you need to have the PowerPoint and your resume in the same place at all times.You should have a record of your job history at the top of your resume. You should also write down your specific job titles at the bottom of your resume. When you have all these records, your resume and PowerPoint will look exactly the same, and that will be the difference between you getting the job and not.
